🧡 Thank You for Standing with Us – And Some Exciting News…

By

To everyone who’s read, shared, commented on, or quietly supported CondoTribune: thank you.

This blog started as a lifeline – a place to document what was happening when the official channels shut down, denied, or deflected. But it has become something more: a community of owners, advocates, neighbours, and witnesses who refuse to be gaslit by a bulletin board or buried in silence.

And now, your support is helping us reach even farther.

🗞️ Where We’ve Been?

We’ve already been featured in The Globe and Mail and The Waterloo Region Record. Our case, our story, and the broader issues of condo governance are getting national attention – and not because we played nice.

They listened because we refused to stay quiet.

🎙️ We’ve Been Noticed

We’re excited (and a bit stunned) to share that a well-known podcaster, one who specializes in condo governance, advocacy, and housing policy, has reached out to us. They’re considering featuring our story in an upcoming episode.

They’ve seen the cartoons.
They’ve read the posts.
And like many of you, they’re asking: “How is this happening in a country with law, oversight, and common sense?”

Stay tuned – we’ll share more when it’s confirmed.

🧾 Engaging with the CAO – And Holding the Line

We’re now in communication with the Condominium Authority of Ontario (CAO). We have been asked to provide feedback to help improve the relationship between owners and condo boards.

đź’¬ Why This Matters

We’ve faced:

  • Retaliation for asking questions
  • Legal aggression for seeking accommodation
  • Smears, silence, and shameless spin

And yet, here we are – still standing, still writing, still documenting every contradiction and cartoon-worthy meltdown.

You helped amplify this.
You gave oxygen to something they hoped would suffocate in paperwork and apathy.

📺 And Yes – We’re Going National

Once we receive rulings in the remaining open cases, we’ll be reaching out to CBC News to request a full investigative feature. The documents are ready. The contradictions are obvious. And the public deserves to know what condo owners are up against when boards are allowed to weaponize process, legal budgets, and silence.

If you’re new here: welcome.
If you’ve been here since the first post: you’re part of this.

And if you’ve ever said, “This isn’t just about one owner – it’s about all of us,” then you already understand why this matters so much.

Thank you.
We’re just getting started.
