🐾 He Saved Me – Again and Again

By

I’ve stopped trying to explain my service dog to people who’ve already decided I don’t need one.

They don’t see the nights he sat beside me when I couldn’t breathe.
They weren’t there when the world went silent, when I thought I was breaking.
But he was.

While others doubted, dismissed, and judged, he stayed.
Not out of obligation.
Out of love.

šŸ’” Humans Asked Me to Justify My Pain.

He Just Saw It.

My dog never questioned whether I was “really disabled.”
He never rolled his eyes or demanded more proof.
He never suggested I try harder, be tougher, or stay quiet.

He didn’t call me difficult.
He didn’t sit in a board meeting and vote to make my life harder.

He just laid his head on my knee and reminded me:
ā€œYou’re not alone.ā€

🧠 He Knows Before I Know

My panic attacks don’t come with a warning.
But somehow, he always knows.
Before the dizziness, before the tears, before the world goes sideways – he knows.

And when it happens, he does what no person in this building has ever done:
He stays close.
He helps me breathe.
He reminds me I am not weak. I am fighting.

šŸ”‡ He’s Never Spoken a Word – But he’s Said Everything I Needed to Hear

He doesn’t gossip.
He doesn’t accuse.
He doesn’t weaponize policies or play politics.

He just walks beside me. Steady. Unshaken. Unbothered by whispers and side-eyes.
And when I crumble – because yes, I do sometimes crumble – he leans in just enough for me to rise.

šŸ’¬ To Those Who Think he’s a Disruption

You don’t see what I see.
You don’t know what he’s done for me.
You only see a leash. I see survival.

You hear paws. I hear comfort.
You see a dog. I see the reason I’ve made it this far.

He’s not a pet. He’s not a prop.
He’s the quiet miracle that got me through what no one else could.

ā¤ļø He Is My Strength When the World Tries to Break Me

He saved me when no one else did.
When neighbours looked away, he looked up at me.
When people said I didn’t belong, he never left my side.

So yes – I trust him more than most humans.
Because he earned it.
Because he gave me back my life.
