🛢 Why Are We Settling for the Bottom of the Barrel?

💸 The Bill We Pay vs. The Service We Get

We pay six figures a year for professional property management.

What we get instead:

  • 😡 Saddlestone staff who yell at residents like drill sergeants.
  • 🤷 A board that nods along like bobbleheads, never questioning a thing.
  • 🙄 “Accountability” that’s as mythical as unicorns.

This isn’t leadership. This is amateur hour – at champagne prices.

🐢 The Board’s Greatest Hits

  • 📉 Approving bad contracts without a shred of due diligence.
  • 💤 Missing deadlines, ignoring laws, and pretending “we didn’t know.”
  • 🤡 Sending out newsletters that say nothing, as if silence counts as strategy.

It’s like watching people who’ve never managed a lemonade stand try to run a corporation.

🍲 If This Were a Restaurant…

Imagine paying for a five-star dinner and being served cold soup with a fly in it. Saddlestone, the waiter, snaps: “Eat it or leave!”

Meanwhile, your board – sitting at the chef’s table – claps and says, “What a wonderful meal! So well managed!”

Would you ever go back?
Of course not.

So why are we still swallowing this garbage?

🏗 Would You Hire Them?

  • A contractor who cuts corners and yells at you in your own home?
  • A banker who loses your money and laughs at your questions?
  • A doctor who misdiagnoses you – and then bills you double.

No, no, and no.
But here? The board signs the cheque and calls it a victory.

📢 Here’s the Truth

We are not powerless.
We are not their employees.
And we don’t have to settle for incompetence wrapped in arrogance.

We own this community.
We pay the bills.
And we deserve management and a board that actually understands what it means to govern.

🛑 Stop Accepting Scraps

The bottom of the barrel is where leftovers rot.
That’s where Saddlestone belongs.
And if the board insists on scraping from that same barrel, maybe it’s time we tip the whole thing over.

Because we deserve better.
Much better.
