🚨 This Time It Was Me. Next Time It Can Be You.

What happened here is not just about me.
It’s about every single owner in this building.

When boards and managers break the rules, lie in court, ignore the law, and play favourites, they don’t just target one person-they set a precedent. If they can do it to me, they can do it to anyone.

📌 Today it’s my rights. Tomorrow it could be yours.
📌 Today it’s my unit. Tomorrow it could be your unit.
📌 Today it’s my voice. Tomorrow it could be your silence.

This is not a private feud. This is about governance, fairness, and accountability. That’s why I speak up. Not because I enjoy the fight, but because silence only empowers abuse of power.

⚖️ History Teaches Us What Happens When People Look Away

  • Martin Niemöller in Nazi Germany said it best:
“First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out-because I was not a socialist… Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”
The lesson: ignoring injustice against one person only ensures it will spread.
  • McCarthy Era, USA (1950s): Ordinary people kept quiet while neighbours were blacklisted as “communists.” Careers were destroyed. By the time people realized the witch-hunt was baseless, it was too late.
  • Civil Rights Movement (1960s): Many white Americans thought discrimination was “someone else’s problem.” But the system of unchecked power created violence, division, and national shame until people stood up collectively.

🔑 The Point

Silence is not neutrality-it is permission.
If we don’t hold power accountable when they target one of us, we guarantee they will target more of us.

This time it was me. Next time it can be you.
