Power itself isn’t the enemy. The danger lies in who holds it. And history shows us again and again that when the uneducated and unprepared seize authority, the results are catastrophic.
📜 History’s Uneducated “Leaders“
- Adolf Hitler – Dropped out of secondary school, failed as an artist, yet manipulated his way into power. His lack of education didn’t stop him from unleashing propaganda and destruction on a global scale.
- Joseph Stalin – Expelled from seminary, with no real training in governance or economics. His ignorance fueled purges, famines, and the deaths of millions.
- Idi Amin (Uganda) – Little formal education, known more for brutality than strategy. His regime was marked by chaos, economic ruin, and mass killings.
These men lacked education not just in books, but in judgment, humility, and responsibility. And the price for their ignorance was paid by millions of innocent people.
🚨 The Danger of Inexperienced Hands
It becomes even more dangerous when power falls to people who have never held jobs with real responsibility. Those who’ve never been accountable for budgets, teams, or outcomes suddenly find themselves sitting in positions of authority. With no training in restraint or accountability, they quickly become power drunk – treating leadership as a personal ego boost instead of a duty to others. The result? Rash decisions, petty vendettas, and a leadership culture that thrives on control, not competence.
💡 The Local Lesson
Of course, our condo isn’t a country. But the principle is the same. When people with no training, no knowledge, and no vision sit in positions of authority, they make reckless choices. They follow the loudest voice in the room instead of reason. They mistake power for status instead of duty.
Uneducated and inexperienced leadership always spirals into mismanagement, waste, and harm to the very people they claim to serve.
👉 Competence matters. Education matters. Experience matters. Without them, power is not leadership. It’s danger in disguise.
