A Message to Every Owner Who’s Paying the Price
Let me be brutally honest: if this community keeps ignoring the warning signs, we will keep paying for the board’s mistakes – in court, in fees, in assessments, and in the value of our homes. That is not a prediction. That is history repeating itself at Bluevale.
And I’m tired of watching the same people act shocked after the damage is done.
⚖️ I Don’t Sue Because I Enjoy Conflict
Some people love to whisper that I “like drama.”
Really? Anyone who thinks court is a hobby has clearly never been in one.
I don’t launch legal actions because I’m bored.
I do it because I actually care – care about how my money is spent, how my home is managed, and how laws that protect us are blatantly ignored.
If the board followed the Condominium Act, respected owners, and didn’t treat transparency like a foreign concept, there would be nothing to fight about.
And here’s the reality: I have a real career. A demanding one.
I manage major programs, deliver AI initiatives, and work with hundreds of people. I do not have time – or desire – to spend hundreds of hours drafting court papers, affidavits, appeals, and motions.
But when the board’s behaviour leaves no alternative, I pick up the burden they created.
Not because I want conflict.
Because I care about my home and my money.
But here we are.
đź’¸ Ignoring Problems Is Not a Strategy – It’s a Bill
Every time the board cuts corners, hides issues, or plays amateur lawyer:
we pay for it.
We pay for their legal babysitters. We pay for their mistakes.
We pay to fix the mess they caused… and pretended didn’t exist.
If you think this pattern will magically stop on its own, you’re dreaming.
🚨 Do Not Pretend You Weren’t Warned
I’m saying it now – clearly, publicly, and for the record:
Do not wait to “learn” I was right after the next ruling.
Do not act surprised when the next bill arrives.
Do not claim you weren’t told.
Because you were told.
Repeatedly.
By me, because the board couldn’t be bothered to tell you themselves.
🏠I Care Because This Is My Home Too
Some owners shrug and say, “I don’t care, it’s just condo politics.”
That’s fine.
But I do care.
I care about the value of my unit.
I care about the solvency of our corporation.
I care about the laws that protect us being followed – not shrugged off.
And whether you care or not, mismanagement will cost all of us. Because I care!
🗳️ Elections Matter – So Does Your Voice
If you want to stop the cycle, stop rewarding the people who created it.
Vote for competence.
Vote for integrity.
Vote for a board that doesn’t confuse secrecy with leadership.
But if you re-elect the same people who got us into this mess…
don’t feign shock when the next catastrophe hits.
⚠️ Final Note
I’m not asking for applause.
I’m asking for awareness.
You can learn the easy way – by paying attention now.
Or the expensive way – by paying for it later in court.
Your choice.
