🧠 Public Service Announcement for the Terminally Confused

Spoiler: “I’ll sue you” is not a threat. It’s a legal remedy.

There are days when you genuinely wonder how some adults manage to operate household appliances, never mind form opinions on law, governance, or the meaning of basic English words.
Today is one of those days.

Somewhere in Blenvale, a few folks have convinced themselves that telling someone you will sue them is a “threat.”
This is… ambitious, considering the level of legal illiteracy involved.

⚖️ 1. Threats Are Illegal. Lawsuits Are Literally the Opposite.

A threat involves unlawful harm or intimidation.
A lawsuit is a legal, structured process enshrined in the justice system.

If you can’t tell the difference, you have no business making decisions that affect anyone’s money, home, or safety.

📬 2. Informing Someone of Legal Action Is NOTICE – Not Intimidation.

Adults give notice of intent to sue.
It’s transparent.
It’s procedural.
It’s required in many cases.

If your emotional threshold is so low that you interpret “I’ll take this to court” as menacing, then perhaps community governance is not your calling.

🧾 3. A Lawsuit Isn’t a Threat – It’s a CONSEQUENCE.

If you break the law, ignore the Act, mismanage funds, or trample people’s rights, someone taking you to court isn’t “threatening” you.

It’s the natural outcome of your own choices.

Cause.
Effect.
Very simple.

🧠 4. Only Guilty People Call Accountability a Threat.

Innocent people say:

“Sure, see you in court.”

Guilty people shriek:

“YOU’RE THREATENING ME!”

No, darling.
You’re being reminded that the law exists.

📝 5. “I’ll Sue” Is the Most Civilized Response Available.

It means:
“I’m not yelling. I’m not retaliating. I’m letting a judge decide.”

If you find that frightening, perhaps the mirror is the place to start.

🎯 Final Message for the Perpetually Outraged

“A lawsuit is not a threat. It’s a remedy. It’s due process. And if you think due process is scary, maybe you shouldn’t be violating it.”

And since clarity appears to be a rare commodity these days, let me end with this:

Yes – I will sue because mismanaging my money is illegal.
