THE GREAT LIEN THREAT OF 2025: NICE TRY, COUNSEL

📬⚖️🐍

Ah yes, the classic condo-lawyer scare tactic:
“Pay by 5 p.m. or we’ll register a lien!”

Cue the dramatic music.
Cue the trembling hands.
Cue the…
Actually, no. I didn’t tremble. I laughed.

Because here’s the part they never expect:
I actually know the law better than the people trying to weaponize it against me.

🐍 The lawyer’s letter was full of attitude, but empty on the basics.

If you’re going to threaten me with a lien, at least follow the statute.
Mail the notice properly.
Provide the actual costs.
Disclose the charges.
Stop pretending that “because I said so” is a legal basis for anything.

But now what I get instead is the usual brand of law-office bravado: a tone big enough to fill a stadium, and substance small enough to fit on a grain of rice.

⚖️ Meanwhile, in the real world: I filed an application in Superior Court.

Yes, you read that correctly.
While they were busy flexing over a defective notice,
I filed a full application in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice for oppression, breach of statutory duties, discrimination, harassment, and the growing list of managerial circus acts we’ve all witnessed.

This is not a playground fight.
This is now before a judge.

**🐖 They hoped a lien threat would shut me up.

Spoiler: it did the opposite.**
When you’ve already lived through years of mismanagement,
lies at townhalls, illegal borrowing, secret reserve transfers,
botched audits, and a special assessment held together with duct tape,
a badly written lien threat is… adorable.

💧 I don’t respond to intimidation. I respond with filings.

And every time they escalate, I escalate properly —
in court, on the record, with evidence.

📢 To the community:

Don’t let theatrics fool you.
A lien threat is not a sign of strength – it’s a sign they’ve run out of arguments.

I’m standing my ground.
I’m defending my rights.
And now, the Superior Court is seized of the matter.

More updates to come.
Stay tuned.
