🎄 A Quiet Christmas Moment

Today, a young man stopped me in passing. No speech. No performance. Just a simple sentence: that he voted for me, that he voted against the by-law, and that he was sorry for what I’ve endured in this community.

It caught me off guard – in the best way.

So when someone chooses to speak instead – even briefly – it matters.

Christmas is supposed to be about light. But light doesn’t always arrive with ceremony or applause. Sometimes it shows up quietly, between strangers, in a moment of honesty and decency, during a short elevator ride.
