Every generation thinks itâs enlightened.
Every generation is wrong.
History is a long crime scene dressed up as progress.
đĽ Yesterdayâs âNormalâ Is Todayâs Barbarism
There was a time when:
- Jews were blamed for plagues, expelled, exterminated.
- Gay people were beaten, jailed, âtreated,â erased.
- Disabled people were hidden away, sterilized, institutionalized, or simply discarded.
And the terrifying part?
None of this was fringe behavior.
It was mainstream.
It was legal.
It was defended by religion, science, culture, and âcommon sense.â
The people doing it didnât think they were evil.
They thought they were right.
Thatâs the pattern everyone conveniently forgets.

đ§ Barbarism Doesnât Feel Barbaric While Youâre Doing It
No one wakes up thinking, âToday I will be a monster.â
They say:
- âThatâs just how things are.â
- âItâs tradition.â
- âItâs natural.â
- âItâs not my problem.â
- âIâm not hurting anyone.â
Sound familiar?
It should.
đž Animals: The Blind Spot We Pretend Not to See
Hereâs the uncomfortable truth most people arenât ready for:
One day, killing animals for food will be viewed the same way we now view slavery, eugenics, and witch burnings.
Future humans will look back and ask:
- You knew animals felt pain⌠and you did it anyway?
- You had alternatives⌠and you chose convenience?
- You called yourselves compassionate⌠while funding slaughter?
And they will not be impressed by our excuses.
Theyâll call them what they are: moral cowardice.

âż Minorities, Disability, Difference – Same Story, New Chapter
We love to pretend weâve âlearned.â
But look around:
- Disabled people are still treated as inconveniences.
- Neurodivergence is tolerated only when itâs quiet and compliant.
- Minorities are accepted conditionallyâas long as they donât make anyone uncomfortable.
Progress didnât come from kindness.
It came from pressure, resistance, and people refusing to shut up.
The same way it always has.

đŞ The Question That Actually Matters
History wonât ask:
âDid you mean well?â
It will ask:
âYou knew better. Why didnât you do better?â
And âeveryone else was doing itâ has never aged well as a defense.
đŽ A Message From the Future
The humans of the future will study us.
And they will say:
They thought they were civilized.
They werenât.
They were just next in line.
Final Thought (Uncomfortable by Design)
If youâre offended by this post, good.
Thatâs usually where growth starts.
Barbarism doesnât disappear.
It just waits to be recognized.
And one day, we will be the chapter people shake their heads at.
đ History is not over.
Itâs watching.
