🕰️ The Future Will Judge Us Harshly

Every generation thinks it’s enlightened.
Every generation is wrong.

History is a long crime scene dressed up as progress.

🔥 Yesterday’s “Normal” Is Today’s Barbarism

There was a time when:

Jews were blamed for plagues, expelled, exterminated.
Gay people were beaten, jailed, “treated,” erased.
Disabled people were hidden away, sterilized, institutionalized, or simply discarded.

And the terrifying part?

None of this was fringe behavior.
It was mainstream.
It was legal.
It was defended by religion, science, culture, and “common sense.”

The people doing it didn’t think they were evil.
They thought they were right.

That’s the pattern everyone conveniently forgets.

🧠 Barbarism Doesn’t Feel Barbaric While You’re Doing It

No one wakes up thinking, “Today I will be a monster.”

They say:

“That’s just how things are.”
“It’s tradition.”
“It’s natural.”
“It’s not my problem.”
“I’m not hurting anyone.”

Sound familiar?

It should.

🐾 Animals: The Blind Spot We Pretend Not to See

Here’s the uncomfortable truth most people aren’t ready for:

One day, killing animals for food will be viewed the same way we now view slavery, eugenics, and witch burnings.

Future humans will look back and ask:

You knew animals felt pain… and you did it anyway?
You had alternatives… and you chose convenience?
You called yourselves compassionate… while funding slaughter?

And they will not be impressed by our excuses.

They’ll call them what they are: moral cowardice.

♿ Minorities, Disability, Difference – Same Story, New Chapter

We love to pretend we’ve “learned.”

But look around:

Disabled people are still treated as inconveniences.
Neurodivergence is tolerated only when it’s quiet and compliant.
Minorities are accepted conditionally—as long as they don’t make anyone uncomfortable.

Progress didn’t come from kindness.
It came from pressure, resistance, and people refusing to shut up.

The same way it always has.

🪞 The Question That Actually Matters

History won’t ask:

“Did you mean well?”

It will ask:

“You knew better. Why didn’t you do better?”

And “everyone else was doing it” has never aged well as a defense.

🔮 A Message From the Future

The humans of the future will study us.

And they will say:

They thought they were civilized.
They weren’t.
They were just next in line.

Barbarism doesn’t disappear.
