🏛️ Update: Meeting with the MPP’s Office this Week

I want to share a brief update with the community.

Some time ago, I wrote that I had written to the local MPP regarding ongoing issues in our building. That correspondence was acknowledged, and a meeting with the MPP’s office is scheduled for this week.

This step was taken deliberately and thoughtfully.

📌 Why the MPP Was Contacted

The concerns raised are not about personalities or disagreements between neighbours.

They relate to:

  • Governance failures
  • Ongoing safety and harassment concerns
  • The handling of disability-related issues
  • Repeated inaction despite clear notice

When issues persist over time and internal processes fail to resolve them, escalation to elected representatives is not optional – it is appropriate.

🧾 What This Is (and Is Not)

This is not an attempt to bypass proper processes.
It is not an emotional appeal.

It is a request for oversight and accountability where statutory duties intersect with real harm to residents.

That distinction matters.

🔍 What Comes Next

The purpose of the upcoming meeting is to:

  • Place the situation formally on record
  • Discuss systemic issues, not isolated events
  • Seek guidance on appropriate oversight mechanisms when internal governance fails

No one is being ambushed.
No facts are being exaggerated.

This is a measured, documented step.

🤍 Why I’m Sharing This

I’m sharing this update for transparency.

Silence allows misinformation to spread.
Clarity prevents that.

My goal remains unchanged: to live safely and peacefully in my home, without harassment or reprisal.

Escalation happens only when resolution does not.

Final note

If everything were functioning as it should, this step would not have been necessary.

It was.

And now it’s moving forward.
